Mike Tierney

Mike Tierney is a Managing Director focused on hospitals and health systems. Mike joined Cain Brothers, a division of KeyBanc Capital Markets, in 2025 and has nearly 20 years of experience advising not-for-profit and for-profit organizations on a variety of merger and acquisition, joint venture, and strategic advisory transactions.

Prior Experience
Prior to joiningCain Brothers, Mike was a Managing Director at H2C Securities, which was acquired by Fifth Third’s Investment Banking team. At H2C, he focused on M&A transactions for hospitals, health systems, and behavioral health organizations.

Education
Mike earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Michigan State University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
